As you are aware, the On-Call Salary Scheme Pilot which commenced on 1 April 2013 was due to end on 31st December 2017.
As a result of ongoing negotiations between the Service and Representative Bodies it has been agreed to extend the On-Call Salary Scheme until 31st March 2018. This additional time will enable the details of the permanent scheme to be established and a full consultation with staff to take place.
Individuals on the trial will receive a letter from HR shortly asking them to return a signed acknowledgement if they are willing to continue participating.
Your participation in the Service’s pilot of an alternative salary scheme for employees working the Retained Duty System and for the feedback you have provided during this time is appreciated and contributes to the ongoing progression of the organisation.
